Shaswati Debnath is a self taught freelance Visual Artist. She has two master degrees in MBA(HR) & MA(Painting) and had a seasoned corporate career before she took to her passion into Art as an Oil Painter. Recently she completed her scholarship term programme into academic art lessons from Madrid Academy of Art, Spain. 

 

She paints in a representational realistic style taking inspiration from daily lives and embraces impressionism into her works. She excels in expressing and engaging a conversation onto her paintings for her audience/buyers. 

 

Shaswati has represented in leading Art Galleries in Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bhopal and Tbilisi. Her oil paintings have won many juried awards couple being the State Level Award, Maharashtra in 2016; Lalit Kala Kendra, Assam in 2022. Based in Pune, Shaswati has lived in Rourkela and Mumbai.
